Ms. Maxfield, who had experience with 4-H, recognized Morgan’s potential and encouraged her to transfer to FFA. This decision was a turning point, sparking Morgan’s deep interest in agricultural education. By the end of her freshman year, Morgan’s commitment to FFA was solidified when she applied to be an officer, a role she served in throughout her sophomore year.
