underneath their belts, she has no plans to ease up. With 2 game winners that would be the deciders of league champs over the last 5 games, Charlie is averaging 19 points and 12 rebounds a game and 14 points and 11 rebounds per game on the season. Averaging a double-double in basketball is not easy but Charlie says “I don’t come into games with a stat line I try to get, a double-double is what is expected from me”. Her leadership on the court is unmatched, she takes over huddles, and calls timeouts on the court to regroup and her overall basketball communication it’s all amazing to watch. There was one particular timeout she called against Vincent Memorial, Vincent just got a steal and fast break layup to go up by 2 and on the next possession they get a foul and hit 1 free throw you can see our team down Charlie calls a timeout and you see her run straight to the huddle to coach it up she says “I knew me and MJ were in foul trouble and I can see the game slipping away so I knew I had to at least try to get everyone’s head right”. Charlie plans on taking all of this in full stride going into the championship game. It’s going to be a close one but it’s nothing the Jackets aren’t ready for as the girls look to be back-to-back champs.
